Terms of use & credits
Using HummingKeys
- HummingKeys is free to use for personal, educational and commercial music-making.
- Your music is yours. You own everything you create, record and export. We claim no rights to it.
- HummingKeys is provided "as is", without warranties. Save your projects regularly — we can't recover work stored in your browser if it is cleared or lost.
- Don't use HummingKeys to upload or create content you don't have the rights to, or to break the law. Reference-track analysis is meant for inspiration (tempo, key, feel), not for copying someone else's song.
AI co-writer
- The co-writer is powered by Claude from Anthropic, using your own API key. Your use of it is also subject to Anthropic's Usage Policy and terms.
- AI suggestions can be wrong or unoriginal. You decide what goes into your song and are responsible for what you publish.
Support payments
Tips and supporter memberships are voluntary contributions processed by a third-party platform (such as Ko-fi). They don't buy access to any feature musicians need; supporter perks are thank-yous. You can cancel a membership at any time on the payment platform.
